Part 1

Loved and respected my Mother Teresa, Saint Teresa of Spain (1515-1582) and a member of the Inquisition are represented by Shōsuke Tanihara and Yukiko Motoya, depicting the philosophical and exciting drama of an intense discussion before becoming a saint. Interview with Spanish popular writer Mayorga and Akutagawa Award winner Yukiko Motoya.


Part Two < "Chosen girls" (Original title: Las Elegidas)>

One of the most prominent writers in Mexico now, Jorge Volpi, writes a draft screenplay of "Chosen girls" which is then made into a movie by young Mexican director David Pablos, and in turn influences again Volpi to write the novel of the same title. Nominated in 2015 for "Un Certain Regard" at Cannes Film Festival. After the screening, there will be a talk with the author and director about various processes of its creation. ※ with Japanese subtitles
